Football Fever...

The FIFA World Cup began yesterday. The crowd was fantastic! Though, the first two matches were not that great, this world cup is going to be very exciting. The first match between South Africa and Mexico was much better than the second one. South Africa was all set to win the first match but an equalizer from Rafael Marquez dashed all hopes of a South African win. Who can ever forget the last world cup and the way things ended for Zinedine Zidane. I was so disappointed and heartbroken when France didn’t win. To lose it on a penalty shootout was even worse. But, it’s been four years now and I have certainly moved on. This year, my favourites are Argentina, Spain and Brazil.

Lionel Messi playing for Argentina is such an advantage for the country. His game has awed millions and I hope he continues to play the same way this World cup too.
